In 2008, Alvin Merrifield founded 3-Fi Limited in Atlanta, Georgia, as a firm specializing in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technologies. Ambitious and experienced in information technology operations, business process re-engineering, concept development, finance, customer relationship management, and quality systems and manufacturing, Alvin Merrifield rapidly expanded the company into a large-scale international IT enterprise with partners in China, Canada, and Italy, as well as a second office in the United States Virgin Islands.

Alvin Merrifield led his company in building a massive telecommunications network in the United States with numerous points-of-presence in countries around the globe. Complemented by the company's extensive suite of software and fixed, mobile, and IP-based devices, 3-Fi Limited's private IP network makes cost-effective international communications readily available to customers worldwide. Prior to his work with 3-Fi Limited, Alvin Merrifield held several positions in multiple industries. Alvin Merrifield served as a banker and investment broker, maintaining his own Internet brokerage trading company. A capable leader, Alvin Merrifield also completed a successful tenure as Chairman and CEO of Boon Tree, Inc., where he directed the development of a cutting-edge platform for online trading. Alvin Merrifield holds a computer science degree from the SCS Business and Technical Institute in New York and lives with his wife and two children in Johns Creek, Georgia. In his limited leisure time, Alvin Merrifield enjoys reading, swimming, and playing tennis.
