To network with others interested in competitive horse sporting events, Antoinette Rand belongs to several equine-related organizations. When considering membership in associations, Antoinette Rand researches their work and examines their benefit to horses. One organization that impressed Antoinette Rand was Arkansas Thoroughbred Breeders' & Horsemen's Association (ATBHA), which was founded in 1961. Renowned as the official breed registry for all thoroughbreds reared in Arkansas, ATBHA helps determine an animal's eligibility for participation in Arkansas races. Additionally, ATBHA consults its registry to confirm eligibility for the Owner, Breeder, and/or Stallion Owner Awards program. It is the responsibility of Antoinette Rand’s colleagues at ATBHA to maintain registration records of all Arkansas thoroughbreds. ATBHA is one of many equine associations to which Antoinette Rand belongs. Antoinette Rand also participates in the National Reining Breeders Classic (NRBC). Encouraging the best equestrians to showcase their abilities, the NRBC has distributed more than $10 million in prizes over the course of its first 11 events.
