My average work schedule consists of inservices to hospitals and physician offices, managing exhisting accounts, and numerous chart reviews in hospitals throughout dade county.
I am resposible for marketing pharmacy services for Infusion Techologies. We are a specialty pharmacy that dispenses IV/injectable medication such as IV antibiotics, chemotherapy, anticogulants, and antirejection drugs for administration in the home setting. Once a referral to IT is received, I am also responsible for going to the hospital, clinic, or office to review the chart, meet with patient, doctor, and case manager, and procees the prescription safely. The medication is then delivered to the patient's home and a nurse is sent to assist in administration. My territory includes all of Dade county. I am required to bring in a minimum of 25 referral per month. My largest account is the Jackson Health System which includes; Jackson Memorial, Ryder Trauma Center, Holtz Children's Hospital, Jackson South, Jackson North, and numerous outpatient clinics off campus.
*Proven ability to gain and maintain accounts and enhance customer loyalty through exceptional service and cultivation of customer relationships *Consistently exceeded monthly sales quotas greater than 150% *Initiated and contributed to marketing collaterals to increase Infusion Tech's market recognition and measurable sales *Promoted from Clinical Liason to Sales and Marketing Representative within 9 months of hire date.
I find my career in IV pharmaceutical sales challenging as it is extremely competative. The medical conditions of our patients are complex and assisting in their healing is truly fullfilling. I look forward to continuing my education by persuing an MBA and advancing my career to managment or hospital based medical device sales.
