Jon Queen is an emissions trading specialist focusing on deal origination, project finance and risk quantification.  As a businessman he assists clients with the carbon offset and alternative energy markets.

He specializes in structuring projects that generate emissions credits under the Kyoto Protocol as well as voluntary credits under the WWF's Gold Standard and the Voluntary Carbon Standard.

Jon has advised clients on a wide variety of transactional and environmental matters including trading, credit enhancement, insurance, project finance, corporate structuring and regulatory issues.  He advises several energy and carbon companies in Central Europe and Asia.

Jon holds degrees in Economics from Cornell University and in Law from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Certificate of Study in Business & Public Policy from Wharton Business School.  In addition to English he has proficient French and basic Russian language skills.
