Award-winning Doctor Carole C. Lane has been in the field of medicine for upwards of 20 years, and she is using her variety of talents to treat patients in greater Monroeville, Alabama. Dr. Lane is the President and a Physician at Lane Medical Group, where she practices dermatology, and the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services for Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville, Alabama. Currently, Lane is focusing her work at Lane Medical Group on identifying skin cancer and treating it through surgery. Due to the repeated demonstrations of her medical acumen, Dr. Carole Lane became the recipient of the American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award for Continuing Medical Education from 2000 to 2003. Dr. Carole Lane's career in medicine began at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Carole C. Lane majored in Physics and also minored in Chemistry and Math. After she received her B.S. degree, Carole Lane focused her postgraduate studies on Internal Medicine and Dermatology. Carole Lane graduated Cum Laude in the top 25 percent of her class. In an effort to maintain relationships with her fellow medical professionals and stay abreast of what is happening in the medical community, Dr. Carole Lane is affiliated with a number of medical organizations, namely American Society of Dermatology, American Society of Echocardiography, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and the Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. When she is not treating patients at her office, Carole C. Lane, who has her private pilots license, take to the sky in a Cirrus SR22-G2 aircraft.
