EyeDefender 1.01 (Windows, Freeware, 183KB) [alt DL] is a freeware rest reminder designed to prevent Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) resulting from working on a computer for hours on end. Once installed, EyeDefender sits in the system tray and displays the time left until the next break.

I'm currently trying EyeDefender. It has a small memory footprint (6172Kb), so you can just let it startup when you boot your Windows box.
