Chris Hysinger returned to school and obtained a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University. Mr. Hysinger graduated in the top 5 percent of his class and received a Jones Scholar Award for his scholastic achievement. After completing his degree, Mr. Hysinger entered the energy-trading industry as a Trader with BP Energy Company. Supervising a small team, he focused his trading efforts on the Houston Ship Channel area.
Five years later, Chris Hysinger accepted a position with Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy as Vice President of Natural Gas Trading. Operating in this capacity for over two years, Mr. Hysinger managed a team of traders and analysts and was responsible for the Texas trading desk's commercial activities.
Presently, Chris Hysinger has returned to his mechanical engineering background as a Vice President with Orbital Traction, Ltd. Acting in a senior management role, he directs the business development strategy and the day-to-day operations of this after-market engine accessory company.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Chris Hysinger visited Acuna, Mexico, and Port-au-Prince, Haiti, during two missionary trips sponsored by his church, the First United Methodist Church of Houston. He also serves on the board of directors of two parochial schools in the Houston area. When afforded the opportunity, he enjoys reading, playing the guitar, and traveling.
