Ms. Dorsa's current internship builds on an earlier 2011 internship undertaken with Van Eaton & Romero Realtors. Her responsibilities included implementing a fundraising campaign and assisting with radio advertisement promotions. As a college student, she has been highly involved in athletic activities, earning rank as Loyola University New Orleans Cheerleading Captain in 2010 and participating with the Tulane University cheerleading squad the following year. In the summer of 2010, Christen Dorsa broadened her knowledge of European economics and international business law through a study abroad program that brought her to London, Brussels, and Dublin.
An active equestrian, Christen Dorsa has participated in national association-level quarter horse and paint horse competitions since the age of five. For a period of five years as a teenager, she volunteered with Franklin, Tennessee-based Saddle Up!, helping to develop summer camp activities and teach equestrian skills to children with disabilities. In 2008, Ms. Dorsa volunteered with Metro Animal Shelter in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, exercising shelter animals and assisting in their care. Christen Dorsa maintains an active interest in arts, culture, and politics, with particular interest in children's and animal welfare issues.
