I’m an independent technology writer who likes to ‘walk the talk’. On my blog CleverClogs I cover my hobbyhorses RSS technology, personal productivity tools, desktop alerts & instant notification services in addition to all kind of hacks that make TypePad, my preferred blogging system, more usable. I use my blog also to fully understand and demonstrate how these new technologies can be implemented, so you’ll find that my blog format evolves with the tools and services I’m discovering.
In 2004/2005 I was a contributing editor at the MasterNewMedia publishing network of Robin Good. Since then I’ve been frequently invited by CEOs and software developers of desktop applications and web services to provide them with usability feedback and critical comments to their products.
Others might know me because of my past expertise in ActiveWords, a keyboard enhancement tool for Windows applications. My writings can be found on my stale weblog AWesome and in frequent postings on the ActiveWords User Forum.
There’s a full CV with testimonies on my Ecademy Profile. Alternatively you could tell me why you need it and I could send it to you by email.
I live in the Netherlands. I enjoy spending my private time with my kids and friends, learning languages, solving brain puzzles and making music on instruments such as the piano, harp, guitar and voice.
