DAVID WERNER INTERNATIONAL CO

Originally employed in his family's textile business, David Werner is known today as one of the country's preeminent career placement specialists. During his employment with R.L. Werner Ltd., David Werner helped grow exports from Australia and New Zealand into Europe . This activity eventually led to the company's acquisition by Australian Aire Wool Limited, and Mr. Werner soon found himself in the position of Managing Director of his own subsidiary. Working from Sydney, David broke into the Southeast Asian markets, specifically Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and China, positioning Aire Wool as one of the leading suppliers of wool to these countries.

In 1971, David Werner was tapped by the International Wool Secretariat to be the Manager of Marketing Research. Soon David was in London helping to promote the wool mark symbol - a campaign to help establish the importance of wool over synthetic fibers. In time, competitors, such as the American Cotton Board, began to ape these successful marketing techniques due to their widespread success in Europe and North America. Due to his work with the International Wool Secretariat, Mr. Werner received official recognition as an Economist with the United Nations (UNCTAD).

In 1977, David Werner made his way to the United States, where he met John Crystal. The two aligned, creating the Crystal-Werner Corporation. Upon Mr. Crystal's passing in 1988, the corporation became DWIC, the David Werner International Corporation. Today, DWIC is one of the world's most effective Senior Executive marketing companies, recognized by the Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times for its adept maneuvering across global markets.
