Domenica Cresap began her business career in the mid-1980s as a producer in copier sales and as a corporate travel representative. In 1993, as the General Manager for Nick's Pizza Pub, she oversaw the company's expansion to Crystal Lake, Elgin, and West Chicago. In the late '90s, she moved to Pingree & Rakow, where she oversaw a portfolio increase from $300,000 to over $7 million. As Chief Asset Manager of Plote Properties, Hoffman Estates, Domenica Cresap developed relationships with clients, brought the company into good financial standing, and reduced its vacancy rate to 9 percent from a 29 percent starting point.
In addition to her work as an asset manager, Domenica Cresap ran her own business as a personal trainer from 2007 to 2010. She maintains certification with the American Sports & Fitness Association (ASFA). In her capacity as a trainer, Domenica Cresap was actively involved in cycling and physical training. She continues her involvement in the cycling community by participating in challenges in and around Chicago and the United States.
She resides in Wilmette, Illinois, the state in which she has worked throughout her career. Cresap is involved in the Chicago Cares Organization, a local charity that helps families in need.
