“Owner - Black Gold Bulldogs”
Blackgold Bulldogs of Woodbine, Georgia, is the leader in breeding healthy, rare-colored bulldogs. Blackgold was the first breeder in the USA that specificaly bred for rare colors. Almost all breeding programs in the USA can trace their bloodlines back to Blackgold Bulldogs. All lilac and dark chocolate Bulldogs known to exist have Rocky in their pedigree. Rocky is proudly owned by Blackgold Bulldogs and is the only champion sired black Bulldog in the world. He is also the sire of Winston Jonas. Winston is a blue tri English Bulldog owned by Joe Jonas. Winston is the most photographed Bulldog in the world.

Blackgold Bulldogs sells to pet owners looking for a rare colored, unique, healthy family pet, but also considers itself to be more of a ?breeder for breeders.? program helping ensure these rare colors will be here for many generations to come. Many of the puppies bred by Blackgld are purchased by people who intend to breed their own lines of bulldogs. Regular DNA analysis and rigorous American Kennel Club (AKC) certification help reassure clients that they are receiving precisely the quality and genetics they want.

The owners of Blackgld Bulldogs care about the quality of their puppies and dogs. Many of the bulldogs who have lived passed their breeding age are retired with owner Don Edward, living a full life as beloved pets. Multiple generations of a blood line can be seen at the home of Blackgold Bulldogs, which helps buyers confirm the long, healthy bloodlines of Blackgold bulldogs.

Due to the rare varieties and the high quality, many of the rare colored bulldogs bought or sold within the U.S. can likely be genetically traced to a Blackgold line. Unaffiliated veterinarians have also noted a lack of common genetic problems within the Bulldog breed in bulldogs originating from Blackgold. For over 15 years, the breeders have worked to produce high-quality puppies and have used the experience to ?breed out? many genetic defects.
