Frank Roessler got his first taste of real estate finance while working as an intern at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, LP. To help secure debt and equity for the firm, Roessler packaged portfolio presentations for large real estate development deals. He also performed market research on a wide range of development properties to gain a better understanding of trends in the real estate market. Frank Roessler joined the company in June 2008, shortly after graduating from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Finance. Following his internship at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, he interviewed with M&A Real Estate Partners in Century City, a business specializing in institutional multi-family housing, as well as student housing communities at universities and other schools.
Joining M&A Real Estate Partners as an Associate in October 2008, Frank Roessler was responsible for creating advanced financial models to help the organization determine if a property was a good candidate for investment and acquisition, as well as marketing and designing websites for individual properties. He also served as Revenue Manager for the properties owned by the firm, and made important decisions on what rates to charge tenants based on a property's financial performance. Promoted in 2011, Frank Roessler became the company's Asset Manager. In this role, he oversees the company's assets, valued at over $325 million, and continues to perform financial analysis, in addition to calculating rent prices based on property revenue generation.
