Instructional Assistant George Anthony Hruneni takes pride in his students’ progress. Working closely with students with learning disabilities at Marriotts Ridge High School in Marriottsville, Maryland, George Anthony Hruneni works to support their performance and provide the resources they need for educational success. Alongside Marriotts Ridge High School’s classroom teachers, George Anthony Hruneni adapts curricula and performs periodic learning assessments. George Anthony Hruneni also monitors students throughout the school day, both in conventional academic and special education programs, and fulfills other responsibilities as assigned. George Anthony Hruneni’s prior teaching experience includes positions as an Instructional Assistant and Substitute Teacher in the Anne Arundel County Schools, as a Student Assistant at Hammond Middle School, and as an Instructional Assistant at Wilde Lake High School and Cedar Lane School. George Anthony Hruneni has also been an Assistant Adjunct Professor in a graduate-level distance learning program run by the University of Maryland University College. George Anthony Hruneni was educated at Santa Clara University, where he received his BA and MA in History, and at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned his PhD in History. In his spare time, George Anthony Hruneni enjoys a number of hobbies, including cooking and traveling. George Anthony Hruneni is also an avid reader and counts Charles Dickens, Ayn Rand, James Patterson, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle among his favorite authors.
