At Gear Up, a business and technology conference sponsored by Interwoven, Inc., in 2007, Glenn Bair shared his expertise in a presentation titled "Improving Customer Support with Collaborative Document Management." Glenn Bair later contributed to a national electronic prescribing initiative that securely delivered patient medication history and formulary information to physicians. He has also managed several technology implementation projects designed to provide secure access to online content for clinical and financial staff employed by physician offices across the U.S.
Experienced in web content management, information architecture, and document management, Glenn Bair plied his trade in various capacities prior to joining Connecticut-based Aetna. After graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1992, Mr. Bair taught imaging courses for two years. From 1994 to 2000, Glenn Bair consulted for several companies, managing print design projects and facilitating web development and interaction design initiatives for clients including Motorola Inc.; Wired magazine; Acuity; Condé Nast; Adobe Systems Incorporated; and BMG Entertainment.
Glenn Bair regularly contributes to charities such as Hawkwing and the Mustard Seed Peacebuilding Scholarship. An accomplished sailor, Mr. Bair has navigated the waters of the Penobscot Bay, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland, among other sailing destinations. Glenn Bair enjoys photography, cycling, and Summer trips to the seashore with his family.
