Greg Wilson obtained his legal training at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where in his first year, he won the Legal Research and Writing Award. In subsequent years, he participated on the Moot Court Board; studied criminal defense, personal injury, and family law, among other subjects; and accepted a position at a law firm in Oklahoma City. After earning his law degree, he remained with the firm, which dealt with serious personal injury claims and lawsuits. He tried criminal and civil cases and supplied legal counsel in multiple areas, including adoption, bankruptcy, divorce, DUI, guardianship, personal injury, probate, and workers' compensation.
In 1998, Greg Wilson joined the Pottawatomie County District Attorney's office in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He tried cases in administrative and district courts, prosecuting criminal defendants, as well as noncustodial parents for unpaid child support. Soon after, Greg Wilson launched his own firm, Wilson Law Firm, PLLC, where he remains today.
A former mayor, Mr. Wilson spends his leisure time with his family, and enjoys coaching and traveling.
