In addition, it takes getting used to the degree of power, because the vehicle lunges forward with the slightest touch of the accelerator. This does not sound like a very eco-friendly car but the goal of this hybrid is to add power more than improve fuel efficiency.
Fuel performance is pretty relative comparing it to other hybrids where it is more efficient than other BMW 7 series models but it get 20 miles per gallon. While that is great for a luxury sport vehicle that's not all that much for a hybrid.
