Jasmine Wei

I am Jasmine Wei. My Chinese name is Wei Yan Ting .In Chinese, our last name comes first.

I am an experienced interpreter and tour guide.

Since being born and raised in a small town in Guang Xi Province in the south of China,

(where there is a famous tourism city, Guilin, which is famous for its wonderful mountains and rivers),  

I developed a keen interest in English history, literature and culture during my teenage years .

I have been working as a part-time translator since 2004.

Since 2006, I have lived in Shenzhen, where I first worked as a receptionist at
AIM SOLDER (SZ) COMPANY LIMITED,  (a Canadian company), and then became a freelance interpreter and tour guide.  Working for a variety of international companies and private clients from all over the world, I have enjoyed showing them around Shenzhen and other cities in China.

In 2007, I assisted two clients with registering their businesses in Shenzhen. One of them is a Thai company and the other is American.

My character: I am easy-going, friendly, honest, kind, reliable, responsible, and sensitive to the needs of teamwork.

My favourite motto: Life is a journey!

As a travel lover, I have been to many cities in mainland China, such as Beijing, Shanghai,
Ningbo, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Guilin, Nanning, Chengdu. I have also been to Hong Kong
and Malaysia.

Though I am hard-working, I know how to enjoy my spare time. When it is sunny,
I like to go to the beach or go out walking. When it is rainy, I prefer to stay home and listen to light music, or write a journal or a short story, which inspires my creative and imaginative streak.
