Combining his extensive experience as an Insurance Agent with a genuine desire to redefine the role of employee benefits in the United States, Jed Brettschneider adeptly guides the team at HMA Direct toward providing exemplary benefits consulting services. With Jed Brettschneider at the helm, the HMA Direct family has expanded to include a number of subsidiaries in addition to the original components. These include a General Agency (GA), a Third Party Administrator (TPA), and a Managing General Underwriter (MGU). Jed Brettschneider fuels the success of HMA Direct with his varied knowledge of reinsurance, health and welfare benefits, flexible spending accounts, health reimbursement accounts, health savings accounts, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, and compliance. Jed Brettschneider commenced his career in the health insurance industry as an Insurance Agent for a leading NYSE-traded insurance company. Demonstrating keen focus and a determination to success, Jed Brettschneider was soon leading the team in sales as the highest producing Agent and Sales Manager in the country. Jed Brettschneider went on to serve as President of JLB Insurance Agency, Inc. before founding HMA Direct. Nationally, Jed is recognized for his work with The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) as a member of the well respected Capitol Club and is an active member of the United States Holocaust Museum. He is also regular a supporter of the Special Olympics. Jed Brettschneider is licensed as a Producing Agent in Accident, Health, and Life insurance in MA and other states.
