Jose Fiogbe

Information Systems Security Analyst / IT Security Lab Instructor @ Concordia University College of Alberta

I am heavily into information systems security. I am an information security guru. I am very busy preparing my Certified Information Systems Security Professional designation (CISSP). I am a manager by experience and training having managed teams of professionals at our Concordia labs and earning a powerful master of Information systems management at the same institution, Edmonton, AB. I am very motivated AND PASSIONATE ABOUT MY JOB. For me, a job brings not only a way of living but also a better way of accomplishments. Rain or shine, I must be at my office on time. But I also balance my job with a very stable family life to improve my productivity.

My main interests are information systems security, applied information technology, IT security governance. I am all about risk assessment, advanced network security, forensics, firewalls, disaster recovery planning, software engineering, security policies and procedures. I was a computer system analyst in the USA, doing system analysis, database design, network design, java programming and java sandbox security modeling.I feel very comfortable mastering them partly because I have a very strong training in mathematics, statistics,  technique and sciences from my high school years.

I enjoy helping people. I am open-minded, team player, and very professional with attention to details. I work better without supervision. I am proudly a  son of Benin Republic, a young man from West  Africa, and   an educated citizen of Canada. I would like to connect with professionally minded people from all horizons to exchange ideas about our different professions.

I am very comfortable with people of different culture and do believe that the best is yet to come. Eventually, I am family-oriented.

I'm open to job opportunities

Resume

Welcome aboard!!! I am an IT security professional very competent and open-minded. I would like to meet more people in the field for exchange and meeting online or face-to-face. I appreciate connecting to professionally minded people from any horizon and background. Please enjoy my friendly personal web portal. Remember you can make a difference in my life by simply saying hello by email at jfiogbeATyahoo.com. Come back again! I am looking forward to meeting you!!!..... Again.
Right now I am preparing my Certified Information Systems Security (CISSP) professional designation.
We all know we have to understand the digital economy, how to bridge the digital gap between rich and poor countries, and assess risks. My background helps a lot to assess risks as a security analyst when writing security policies or recovering a business from disasters, we do a business impact analysis (BIA) . It is one of my good strength. I think globally but compete locally, one step ahead of the current technology, to stay at the bleeding edge of my field, to anticipate technology trends. Besides I attended very early a high school in mathematics and sciences from a French secondary school. I am excellent in mathematics. I earned a French baccalaureat C (mathematics and physics).
A bientot.
