We're going to pretend we are for an adventure going every now and then. I will start praying "Our Dad who art in Heaven" at the same time jumping over this canal. (Pretend you see an important river and "jump" around it. ) Now I extend my hands up high to the sky and say, "Hallowed often be Thy name. Let's climb some higher and say, "on earth while it is in Heaven. "
Look! We're up so high it feels like we can touch Haven. (Reach one hand way up. ) Whoa! I'm feeling somewhat dizzy. (Act like you're light headed. ) We better climb down out of this tree fast. (Quickly "climb off the tree". ) I'm feeling style of hungry. Look, there's some picnic basket! (Point for the "picnic basket". ) Let's see what's inside and Most definitely i'll pray, "Give us today our daily bread". Oooh! Mouth watering chicken. (Pretend to eat a chicken leg. ) And cold milk. (Pretend that will drink the milk. ) Ohio, dear! I'm feeling a bit of sleepy. (Give a pretend that yawn. ) I'm preparing to lay down and as i do I will hope, "forgive us our loans or sins... (Yawn once again. )... as we forgive our debtors or people that sinned against us. " SO. That's enough of a fabulous nap, (Sit up or remain true from your "nap". )
We want to be back to our voyage. Look! I see some cave up ahead. Once we quietly tiptoe toward the cave I will pray, "lead us not even into temptation". (Pretend to tiptoe to the "cave". ) Shhh! There's no doubt that I hear some snoring. (Put your hand for a ear. ) I'm preparing to pray, "deliver us with evil". The snoring is getting louder (look scared) and additionally louder and louder. I wonder that's inside. Let's peek throughout. (Lean over as peeking on the inside. ) Oh no! It's a fabulous bear! (Scream, "Ahhh! ") Once we run away, I could pray, "For Thine is a kingdom and the power and therefore the glory forever and ever". Oh! We're safe! We are back home and I will close my prayer with, "Amen! "
