Possessing nearly two decades of private practice experience, Dr. John Minye established his own facility in Santa Rosa, California, in 1998. Dr. John Minye offers the full gamut of general restorative and preventive dental care, including evaluations and treatment planning, fillings, crowns, snoring prevention, and cosmetic enhancements.
Committed to creating an exceptional experience for each patient, Dr. John Minye employs two hygienists and only sees one patient at a time. This allows him to devote his full attention to each person while minimizing time spent in the waiting room. To accommodate those with allergies and sensitivities, Dr. Minye and his staff maintain a scent-free office. Dr. Minye stresses the importance of using toxin-free dental materials, offering fillings and crowns created without mercury or metals. Additionally, he can give viable options for heavy metal detoxification. Certified by the National Dental Board, Dr. John Minye holds membership in the Redwood Empire Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
An alumnus of Whittier College, Dr. John Minye graduated from the school with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Minye obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Following graduation, Dr. Minye spent six years as an Associate Dentist at private practices in Oakland, Albany, and Santa Rosa before opening his own facility.
Currently, Dr. Minye contributes to The Smile Train, a nonprofit organization that facilitates cleft lip surgery for children around the world. Dr. Minye provides support to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, as well. To relax, Dr. Minye listens to the classical sound of organ music. In support of this passion, Dr. John Minye previously acted as Treasurer for the Redwood Empire Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
