To keep his skills and comprehension of acute and long-term care current, Dr. Joseph Denor conducts rounds at six different facilities. He visits patients at Minnesota Masonic in Bloomington, the Colony in Eden Prairie, St. Therese in New Hope, Parkwood Shores Assisted Living in St. Louis Park, and Presbyterian Homes in Spring Park, and Castle Ridge Care Center in Eden Prairie. Dr. Denor also builds his acumen in the field through research in scientific publications such as the New England Journal of Medicine, Medial Economics, and the American Geriatrics Society.
Another aspect of his geriatric work involves the dialogue with patients and their families about end of life issues. Dr. Joseph Denor strives to utilize effective communication and his training in advanced health care directives, code status, and Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment, to discuss treatment options for those afflicted with illness.
Dr. Joseph Denor earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His medical degree was conferred at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Denor conducted an internal medicine residency and a geriatric fellowship through the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics. He continues to grow within his field and looks forward to providing personalized care to many more patients.
