Dr. Juan Bravo runs his own medical practice in Florida, specializing in hyperbalic medicine and wound care. He is one of only 24 physicians in Florida who are board certified in hyperbaric medicine, and patients travel from all over the state to his clinic. Dr. Bravo is a member of several organizations for medical professionals, including the American Academy of Wound Management, The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, and the Florida Medical Association. Dr. Bravo is dedicated to both practicing and teaching medicine and regularly talks about his work with medical professionals, medical students, and teens who are interested in careers in medicine. Dr. Juan Bravo is also an invited speaker at numerous medical conferences per year, specializing in wound care and hyperbaric medicine, and is a regular speaker at Organogenesis and Pfizer-sponsored events. Dr. Juan Bravo is highly educated in his field. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. For his Doctor of Medicine degree, Dr. Bravo attended the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, where he again graduated with honors. For his medical residency, Dr. Bravo chose the University of South Florida College of Medicine. During the course of his residency, Dr. Bravo received the Charles Ackerman Award for excellence in practicing medicine. Dr. Bravo donates regularly to medical charities like the Leukemia and Lymhoma Society and the Red Cross because he knows firsthand the kind of lifesaving work they do for people in need of medical aid. Dr. Juan Bravo also enjoys playing tennis, swimming, cooking, and spending time with his family in his spare time. Dr. Juan Bravo lives in Florida.
