Personal

I live in the Netherlands Antilles (Curaçao) with my wife, Carla, and our two daughters, Yvette and Pascale.

I have three confessions. First, I am an attorney. Second, I'm not sure what made me decide to become an attorney. Third, I seem to be pretty good at what I do.

Most people, including my clients, think that I am a professional with a sense of humor, open-minded, and full of energy.

When I am not working, you will find me on a beach playing with my children.


Business

I am a partner at Spigthoff Attorneys at Law & Tax Advisers and belong to both the Amsterdam Bar (the Netherlands) and the Netherlands Antilles Bar.

I really like practicing in the Netherlands Antilles because it's a perfect mix: working in an almost tropical environment and getting paid for it too...
