As an inventor, Dr. Dunn has pioneered a system for point-of-use medication control called the DosePoint dispenser. The device currently has a patent pending with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Lawrence A. Dunn, MD, was educated at Kalamazoo College in Michigan, where he graduated cum laude. He received his doctorate at the University of Michigan shortly before beginning his residency at the Duke University Medical Center's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Dunn has been certified by the American Academy of Pain Management.
