Lisa Jones founded Lisa’s Dance Studio as part of a successful career in dance, modeling, and choreography. Opening Lisa’s Dance Studio 22 years ago, Lisa Jones continues to infuse every aspect of her work with her contagious energy and enthusiasm, and she remains committed to offering youth in the greater Quincy area first-rate dance instruction from professionally trained teachers/dancers. The first dance studio in the region to offer street dance and video jazz classes, Lisa’s Dance Studio quickly became a destination known for the most up-to-date choreography. Recently, Quincy’s Patriot Ledger published an article on the rising number of boys enrolled in dance classes, largely as a result of Lisa’s Dance Studio’s driving hip-hop and street dance instruction. Lisa Jones has also used her experience working with young recording artists as an inspiration to start vocal group classes at Lisa’s Dance Studio. Students of Lisa Jones record an original song, then learn cutting-edge choreography, set to their own music. A number of talented dancers and instructors have joined Lisa’s Dance Studio over the years, including Helenmarie Gorman, who specializes in Preschool/Children’s Dance; Siobhan O’Brien, who leads the Lisa’s Dance Studio ballet and pointe classes; Jaime Galley, who teaches the Teen Jazz classes and Dance Team Vocal Group; and Sherod Haynes, graduate of New York’s famed Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory, who instructs the Streetdance Dance Teams at Lisa’s Dance Studio. Lisa’s Dance Studio has been recognized as the best dance studio in the greater Quincy area for almost a decade. To learn more about Lisa Jones and Lisa’s Dance Studio, visit lisadancestudio.com.
