Hi, I'm Lorna Li and welcome to my Ziki page. 

I discovered Ziki while researching search engine optimization for my job.  I frequently surf Rohit Bharvava's blog Influential Interactive Marketing and noticed he had a personal Ziki set up. 

I'm impressed with Ziki's ability to pull feeds in from multiple websites.  Since I blog in several locations, I am glad to have finally found a way to pull all my writing in one place automatically. Also, as a search engine marketer, I'm always looking for ways build positive web presence for myself, and in experimenting on myself, understand how search engines work.

I graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a degree in International Relations in 1995. In 2003, I received my MBA in Marketing from University of San Francisco.

I've always had an intense drive to make the world a better place.  Professionally, this meant working with nonprofits, and volunteering with plethora of social cause projects on the side. At the same time, living in San Francisco, I could not help but be intrigued by the technology innovations being pioneered in the Bay Area. In 2000, I was lured into the technology sector.

Over the past ten years, I’ve mostly worked for innovative startups in the software, nonprofit, and social enterprise sectors. I currently do search marketing for a biotech company that does stem cell banking, a technology that saves lives. While my background may seem varied, the unifying thread in all my endeavors is a passion for innovation and positive social change.

My passion these days is Search Marketing and emerging Web 2.0 technologies. I am currently mastering the art of Social Media Optimization (SMO), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) with the end goal of expanding environmental awareness and sustainability. My current job involves Enterprise Social Networking at salesforce.com.
