Mark Glickman possesses nearly two decades of effective technical experience in numerous top executive sales positions, serving various prominent companies servicing the medical industry.
Mr. Glickman commenced his career in 1990 as a sales specialist for Baxter Healthcare in Deerfield, Illinois. Quickly becoming the top seller in his position, Mark Glickman emerged as a Regional Sales Manager in 1991, revitalizing the lowest ranked New York-area sales territory to become the top marketing region by 1993. His skills were later transferred to the position of Account Manager of Hospital Sales in 1994, effectively leading a team of 40 manufacturer and sales representatives while holding accountability of a sales portfolio worth over $100 million.
In 1998, Mark Glickman joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in Princeton, New Jersey as a Hospital and Specialty Senior District Business Manager, identifying and mentoring high potential sales reps and creating an innovative national hospital initiative. Earning recognition as the top performing DBM in the northeast with annual sales of $8.2 million, senior management appointed Glickman as Product Manager to participate on a high priority global launch team. Glickman worked diligently to develop and implement an Internet strategy for a new class of anti-hypertensive medicine. In 2000, Mark was promoted to Senior Product Manager for BMS, where he led the global launch, promotion, and education for a highly regarded CURE trial that increased medical prescriptions by 50% for its established brand.
From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Glickman served as Director of Marketing, Regional Sales Director, and Vice President of Sales and Sales Operations with KOS Pharmaceuticals in Cranbury, New Jersey. As the company’s VP of Sales, Glickman held P&L responsibility for growing, leading, and ensuring the profitability of the $1 billion sales organization of the specialty pharmaceutical company. Mark Glickman remained at the forefront of developing the structure and competency model for the sales organization.
Today, Mark Glickman utilizes his extensive knowledge in his field as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for New Jersey-based pharmaceutical company Oscient Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Glickman was promoted from Vice President to Senior Vice President within one year, and he remains a key element of the executive panel.
