Mark Sanfacon

An information technology leader with more than two decades of experience in his field, Mark Sanfacon currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of National Datacare Corporation in Chantilly, Virginia. Mr. Sanfacon set the stage for his career while an undergraduate at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, in Blacksburg, where he pursued studies in Civil Engineering. Following receipt of his Bachelor of Science in 1988, Mark Sanfacon began the first phase of his professional career, as a Civil Engineer at Froehling & Robertson, Inc., a diversified engineering firm with a strong presence in the Mid-Atlantic region. Two years later, Mr. Sanfacon left F&R to take a role with National Datacare, thus commencing a lengthy tenure with the noted health care banking software company.

Promoted to CEO in 2000, Mark Sanfacon has since led National Datacare to new heights of success in its field, developing a number of innovative software programs, overseeing the company’s sales and business development initiatives, and nurturing partnerships with major financial services providers across the United States. Mr. Sanfacon has increased National Datacare’s client base from a few hundred nursing homes to 5,000-plus long-term care facilities, with close to 500,000 patient bank accounts under management at present. In addition, Mark Sanfacon and his team at National Datacare serve the needs of customers in the mortuary, real estate, and legal fields, as well as other industries that manage funds for their clients.
