retirement villages tauranga
I have issues. Am I the singular here in this predicament?
I struggle to discuss my online marketing business with people about me. It is not which i don't have my 30 second speech worked out for when I feel asked, what I do now I've got left my previous company. No problem there. The catch is the silence that descends when i explain that I am into Network marketing.
Sure enough the after that line is "Why " and "The internet is really a young persons game" or perhaps "I leave that with the young boffins".
I seek to explain and if these appear interested I say generate income am enjoying the difficulty, and how I am moving in a world "village", and that it can be not any more difficult than some other business I have experienced. Most of time though We change the subject and also conversation is resumed.
Why does online have this image and how come it perceived to be only for the young?
Really, the Internet is not just for the young but also for the 'young at heart". I may be older and slower to learn techno terms but I've met from reading some of the forums, that I contain other strengths and pull on those. That gives me a plus.
It concerns me that many of us "Baby Boomers" haven't grasped the power of the Internet fully. Many of my contemporaries trading may have a websites, be on email, a lot of even on Facebook. Most though are still on "Yellow Pages" component. What many of us don't grasp is just how important this online medium is just for both business and existence.
By trying to "knock" people down, they are showing how uncomfortable I am making them feel and basically they can be "scared" of this New world.
The "Young at Heart" need to keep up or we will find ourselves left out!
