Inspired by the work of authors like J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis, as well as comic book creators René Goscinny and Hergé (also known as Georges Prosper Remi), Nicolas Pelletier ideates characters and climates for video games to be played online and on a wide range of handheld devices. With aspirations to be an illustrator for children's literature, Nicolas Pelletier boasts a portfolio containing an array of images that shows his expertise in form, color, and contemporary style. Nicolas Pelletier studied art at Cégep Marie-Victorin in Montreal, where he focused on illustration and design, refined his skill set, and embraced new graphic techniques.

As a young aspiring artist, Nicolas Pelletier initially gravitated toward French comic book illustrators; later, he became attracted to both Japanese and American comic book publishers. Two of his favorite titles are The Adventures of Tintin and The Adventures of Asterix; the latter is a 52-year-old series named after the main character and protagonist, Asterix. Other works of literature that Nicolas Pelletier respects include The Golden Compass trilogy by Philip Pullman and C. S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia series of seven fantasy children's books, commencing with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and completed with The Last Battle.

Currently, Nicolas Pelletier pursues myriad interests, including sampling new types of food, martial arts, reading, and listening to the music of heavy rock performers like Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, and the legendary Ozzy Osbourne, formerly with the band Black Sabbath and now a solo act. As a world traveler who enjoys visiting museums and art galleries throughout the globe, Nicolas Pelletier includes Kyoto, Japan, and Spain as among his preferred destinations.
