Norman Meier

A veteran of the finance industry, Norman Meier leverages years of experience in executive management toward his position as President and CEO of Hemis Corporation, a company he co-founded in 2005. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Hemis Corporation focuses on precious metals exploration and mining. Led by Norman Meier, Hemis Corporation has become a leader in its field and is publicly traded on the OTCBB under the symbol HMSO and on the Frankfurt stock exchange under the symbol XZA. Before establishing Hemis Corporation, Norman Meier founded LEAP Institute LLC, a financial advisory firm. From 2002 to 2004, Norman Meier held the position of Manager Global Sales Support at Man Investments, Switzerland. As the Manager of Global Sales Support for the hedge fund management company, Norman Meier directed a diverse team of sales professionals in raising funds from a variety of financial institutions, banks, and brokers. Prior to his work with Man Investments, Norman Meier served as an Investment Advisor for Canaccord Capital. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Canaccord Capital offered a wide-range of investment management services. Norman Meier began his career in finance as a Financial Advisor for AWD Independent Financial Services in Switzerland. Demonstrating significant success early in his career, Norman Meier was quickly promoted to the role of Team Manager. While at AWD, Norman Meier was honored as the best team leader in Europe, beating out more than a thousand other individuals. Norman Meier maintains a number of professional designations, including the Canadian Investment Manager Designation and the Derivatives Market Specialist Designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.
