Scott F. Gelbard is a third-generation Financial Investment Consultant from Denver, Colorado. His grandfather spent 35 years with Merrill Lynch and opened up the company's Hong Kong branch. Scott F. Gelbard chose an entrepreneurial path and started a company in 1999 called Regency Financial, which became the Regency Group in 2002. At these companies, Scott F. Gelbard and his partners provided management consulting, venture capital investing, and stock promotion. In October 2008, he founded Apis Ventures, a business that serves manufacturers of consumer goods as well as biotech and high-tech ventures. Scott F. Gelbard leverages business opportunities to put together beneficial deals for private and public companies. He believes that the strength of a company relies on its management team and consequently helps emerging companies build their teams to maximize their growth opportunities. Dedicated to staying fit, Scott Gelbard rides dirt bikes, plays hockey and soccer, goes to the gym, and snow skis. Just recently, he appeared in a prominent picture in the publication Steamboat Today, which showed him flying off a jump in a small terrain park at the Steamboat Ski Area on opening day. In addition to his work and sports activities, Scott F. Gelbard is a charitable individual. He supports Men for the Cure Foundation, which promotes early detection of breast cancer and provides awareness programs to that end. He also donates to Food Bank of the Rockies, a Denver-based organization that fights hunger in Northern Colorado, the Western Slope, Eastern Colorado, and Wyoming.
