With the upgrade of drupal on pwnt.org to version 6 I have been considering starting a new project site. Will have to find a few people interested in participating. If I get a big enough response this will start this summer. Contact me for info, and I need dedicated writers for this.

Lately I have been having to take many trips to upgrade most of the equipment for work. This includes new servers, routers, and switches. The new stuff is an amazing upgrade to most of the offices. But, for our local office, it was a bit of a downgrade. The work is almost done, as we are hopefully making one of the last trips this coming weekend, leaving Friday, the 14th and coming back Saturday or Sunday evening. The thing that is of the most concern to me is the fact that I'll be leaving on the 14th, that being another monthiversary for me and Michelle. 19 months this time around. I'll think of something special to do.

One year down now. Thats the only positive thing that i can think of at this moment. My schedule isn't too bad, but c++ is kind of beyond me. Usually I can at least grasp the concept, but something here doesn't click in my head. Other than that, my days are quite good. No more night classes, I learned that the hard way. A couple of online classes here and there. So far web programming is my favorite/easiest class.

I'm proud to say that a few days ago in the UnlogicalIRC network, we launched an icecast server that has been streaming music ever since. We are doing a cash giveaway next week, so be prepared to come over and enjoy the music, make requests and spread the word :)

If you want to see who's playing what, you can use our status page: http://unlogicalirc.net/Main/drupal-5.1/node/19 (code provided by inaki)

It seems that there is also a song request system being coded now, so listeners can browse our music databases and tell us what they want to hear by queuing it up themselves.

If anyone would like a @pwnt.org email address comment on this story with a desired username along with a current email address through which I can reach you. I will hook anyone up with the web based address and the pop3 information in case you want to use thunderbird, outlook, or the like.
I think the host can support unlimited addresses, so feel free to ask for one. I think only two are being used at the moment.

If you would like to use a desktop client such as outlook or thunderbird, and are not sure how to set it up, I will be more than glad to help as much as i can with that.

It was a blast. Rollercoasters, beautiful park, and giant ice creams. I "defied the five"
Lock Ness
Big Bad Wolf
Alpengheist
Apollo's Chariot(x2)
and
Griffon (x3)
Griffon gives an amazing sense of height and speed before and during the first drop. Especially on the front row. They claim that the experience is the same in every row due to stadium seating. Don't buy that for a minute. Front row is the best on any ride, and worth the extra wait in line.

There are few irssi users out there, so for those of you who do use it, and are unsure about how to set up irssi to automatically connect/identify/join channels here is what is necessary:

/network add (network name)*

/network add -autosendcmd "quote ns identify pass;wait 2000" (network name)

/server add -auto -network (network name) server.address port#

/channel add -auto #channel (network name)

repeat step four for necessary channels

 * Network name is defined by you and does not matter what you name it.
