Alli Antar, Ph.D. is currently employed by Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to receiving her Ph.D. from the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Vanderbilt University, Alli Antar won a Lupus Foundation of America Student Stipend Award and the VUMC-NIH/CHHD Reproductive Biology Pre-doctoral Training Grant Award as a graduate student. Dr. Antar has published papers that focus on lipid metabolism, metabolic syndrome, and atherogenesis in obese, hyperlipidemic mice, as well as on the developmental expression of 11-beta-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase Type 1 in the murine thymus. Dr. Antar is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, the American Physiological Society, the Endocrine Society, the Obesity Society, and Sigma Xi.

Alli Antar received her Ph.D. from the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Vanderbilt University. While a graduate student at Vanderbilt, Alli Antar was nominated for and joined the scientific honor society Sigma Xi and received a Lupus Foundation of America Student Stipend Award and the VUMC-NIH/CHHD Reproductive Biology Pre-doctoral Training Grant Award.
