First week of he gym is done. I don't look forward to going at all each day, but I still go. I haven't been able to talk myself out of it yet.

My trainer has me going slow now, since my level of activity has been quite low since I fractured my hip a couple of years ago. I am really sore now... but to be honest, it's a good feeling to be sore again. I dont think I had shin splints... just aggravated muscle I haven't used in a long time. I think anyway. It doesn't really bother me much now. First couple of nights I went to sleep early. But I have noticed my sleep is much better.

I have a long way to go before I reach my goal. I'll be damned if I worked hard to lose more than 20 pounds just to put it back on again. Here's hoping I can stay motivated. I still resent the hell out of going to the gym. I hate myself at the moment. But it will all be worth it when I start acheiving my goals. :)

I've seen discussions on this before. I have terrible back pain so much I have problems getting into bed. My two docs don't believe in pain killers. One has given me a script for muscle relaxers to help me sleep and I take Tylenol 3X a day, I'm going to a pain management doctor after a number of months of physical therapy have done nothing, now twice a week I have acupuncture, heat, Ultrasound, traction and PT with no avail. I keep being told walking is the best thing for it but walking is agony. The only time I'm relatively pain free is whenI'm using a tens unit. I have generative discs some pushing against nerves and arthritis. I also had a surgical procedure to stabilize a number of broken vertebrae (think of a cast inside the vertebrae keeping it from collapsing again). I used to think I was tough and proved it over the last 5 years,
Anyone find any thing that helps. I see football players play with back spasms, back spasms knock me right to a seat. I just am a weenie. Thank god for motorized recliners

You know... it's really irritating the way the media likes to combine the names of celebritites, for example:

As if those weren't annoying enough, there's now LiLo (Lindsay Lohan) K-fed (Kevin Federline) and there's a few others I've noticed recently that annoy me but thankfully not enough for me to remember and make note of here... hehe

But really, is it THAT difficult to type Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? Seriously! It's an annoying little trend I wish would die a fast death. Thanks J-lo. You're responsible for this crap.
