I'm Dion Michael Ashman, Hip Hop Dee Jay, CEO and President of Our Gang Productions of New York, LLC. As a tribute to my mother, Dorothy, who passed over at age 62, I am on a mission to make progressive change that is desperately needed within the urban community. OGP is a multifaceted communications production company whose program format is designed to entertain and inform the public about African American issues. Our Gang is making an effort to create the kind of change in Hip Hop Music that can transcend any boundaries by collaborating with the following organizations, which I am honored to be associated with:

Created in 1991 to broadcast weekly projects, such as the New York Vibes television show (Ch 47), The One Love radio show (91.5FM), Youth Line (WLIB 1190AM) and Just Vibing (WBLS, 107.5FM). Our Gang has formed relationships with corporations such as Key Food, KFC, and McDonalds, utilizing their brand of doing business, grassroots economic and cultural empowerment through entertainment.

The purpose of this network is to educate and entertain all our visitors with material not commonly seen in the mainstream media. Whether it is one of our independent features or one of our new shows, the aim is to expose people to an experience that they may not have had if it were not for this network. Such areas as Hardcore Hip Hop, Rap Music, Obama hip hop, and Hip Hop Celebrity interviews and photos are covered.

Located in the Brooklyn area, Dion Ashman and Our Gang Productions provide quality television production, which includes the following independently produced feature productions, which appear in the Our Gang on Demand Pay per View link on ourgangitvnet.com. These are efforts to assist in the decriminalization of Hip Hop Culture.

Recognized for providing award winning documentaries as well as youth mentoring services, OGP is dedicated to teaching young men life skills. Motivational talks provide tangible methods to assist them in leading productive lives. Music, all hip hop and rap are important aspects of these individuals’ lives and must be given proper perspective, respect and attention while cultivating a youth culture dedicated to successful lives.

For added convenience, Our Gang Productions is creating free internet shows, which will include the following: Word from the People, a male version of The View, Video Air Check, Hip Hop Cipher, Real Soul Experience, Neo Soul Station, and Video International.
