O combien cela est vrai !

Lorsque j'ai cree A World Citizen Program, je l'ai cree en Anglais pour le bien du programme lui meme ( diffusion, interet etc... ). 

Il s'agit d'un projet tres serieux et ambitieux.

Quel n'a pas ete ma surprise de ne voir aucun volontaire pour m'aider a la traduction en Francais des articles du programme alors que de nombreux volontaires se proposent pour le traduire dans des langues 'exotiques' !

Je me suis alors rappele du proverbe ci-dessus et j'ai compris ;-) C'est tout simplement une verite qu'il faut accepter...

J'effectue donc actuellement toutes les traductions en Francais car il faut bien que mes compatriotes 'Citoyens du Monde' ne possedants pas la maitrise de la langue de Shakespeare puissent avoir acces a ce programme.

Ne laissons pas la primeure aux USA et au pays Anglophone et continuons a soutenir des projets bien Francais ... comme ZIKI ;-)

L'idee du "World Citizen Program" est recente. Elle est nee exactement le 26/08/07.

A l'heure actuelle, elle suscite deja beaucoup d'interet de par le monde. Certains articles sont deja traduits en roumains, d'autres vont suivre en portugais...

Tout ceci ne me laisse evidement pas beaucoup de temps pour les transcrire en Francais.

J'appelle donc a un volontaire : ces articles sont tres courts. En les postant sur le site officiel, vous avez l'opportunitee d'avoir en retour un lien vers votre page personnelle.

Pourquoi poster les articles en Anglais ?

Tout simplement parce-que ce projet en est a sa phase de demarrage et que l'idee doit ce propager rapidement.

Je n'ai pas vraiment le temps de les reecrire en Francais, alors... si le coeur vous en dit contactez moi !

Je vais bientot lancer un site web ou ces articles ainsi que les prochains seront traduits dans le maximum de langues.

Ce site sera un site 'portail'. Ce n'est pas le projet en lui meme. Son but sera de proposer aux internautes de s'incrire en temps que citoyen du monde et de les informer sur l'evolution du projet.

Nous repondrons egalement a toutes les questions que vous pourrez vous poser.

The world citizen program needs writers who feel they are world citizens :

1- In English, in order to correct and write my articles in good english.
2- In all other languages in order to translate them.

I will continue publishing articles concerning this project.

Well the following story by Tu Mu is interesting :

The Emperor : "How large an army do you think I could lead?"

A good Leader has no limits. It is a question of dividing your work forces and choosing other good leaders. My personnal experience taught me this before I read the "Art of War". That's why, when I have a business proposal and when I am asked what level of responsabilities I want, the reply is "the more the better".

I know my pedigree ( read 'resume' ) don't explain it but I started quite early in the IT world and Web world. At that time my first serious computer was an IBM 8088 running @ 4hz and I think you could 'boot' it at 6hz. Just a little later I started my presence on the web. Well, almost nobody knew internet in France at that time ;-(...so I used to contact people mainly in the States and in Canada.

With a friend working at the French CNRS ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNRS ) we decided to found an IT club. My friend Gilles was technical and I was the 'manager'. Here I shall give credit to gilles who is a brilliant guy versed in electronic and strong programming ( I mean starting from machine code to object oriented language ). I learned a lot from him.

During those years we watched and adapted ourself to the evolution IT world : microprocessors (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microprocessor ), Microsoft Dos and Windows versions ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_windows ).
