Fouad Fakhreldeen , is an egyptian medical informatics specialist and the one behind EGMEDICINE network.

Fakhreldeen is one of the founders and organizers of the pro-democratic activities in egypt

• been socially active since year 2000 till now

• one of the early members of Kefaya movement then alhamla alsha'abeya

• founder of the union of the progressive youths - egypt and the ex-president founder of its branch in algharbia and almahalla alkobra and were active member at altagamoa'a leftist party till year 2005

• founder of Socialist Horizons Center - Markaz Afaq Eshtrakeya - almahalla alkobra branch focusing on studying and promoting the problems faced by the working class in the biggest industrial city in egypt

• member of the international medical informatics association

• participated in alot of activities held by the NGOs focusing on anti-torture and pro-democratic activities including election observation during elections and voting on the constituitional changes in egypt 2005 and elections 2005, 2007, 2008
