Jeremy Aguayo has managed the Security Department of the
Gansevoort South hotel and condominiums in South Beach, Miami, since 2009. In
his capacity as Assistant Director for the luxury boutique hotel, Jeremy has
emphasized crime prevention and a commitment to cutting costs. Jeremy Aguayo
oversees a staff of 35 security officers, 190 active surveillance cameras,
while protecting 235 hotel rooms and 670 condominium units.
At Gansevoort South, Jeremy Aguayo focuses his law enforcement
background toward training security officers, handling budget and accounting
information, and preparing appraisals and annual reports to streamline the
security department. Jeremy Aguayo's innovative department-wide measures have
reduced the firm's overtime budget by more than 90 percent. Aguayo has also
bolstered profits by eliminating employee theft and implementing a cost-savings
structure. In an effort to boost quality, Jeremy Aguayo has cross-trained staff
members and hired emergency specialists. In his role, Jeremy Aguayo has
developed new security procedures to protect personnel and company equipment.
Aguayo has regularly been commended by company management for his excellent
work ethic and high productivity levels.
Jeremy Aguayo is certified for security detail and medical first
response. Aguayo holds a State of Florida Security Class "D" license to serve
as a security guard and a State of Florida Security Class "MB" license to
operate a security agency. In addition, Jeremy Aguayo is a certified medical
first responder and emergency medical technician. Aguayo has earned a Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Response certification, his State
of Florida and State of Michigan police officer licenses, and a U.S. Air
Marshals Flying While Armed certificate.
A Bachelor's degree candidate in Financial Studies from Florida
International University in Miami, Florida, Jeremy Aguayo maintains a 3.83 GPA
and is expected to complete his studies in 2012.
