As an avid tech and cellular phone junkie myself, I was all too aware of what prospective mobile owners had to go through to acquire a phone, service plan, and accessories. It seemed to me that one had to frequent mall kiosks with overly assertive employees who were more focused on hitting sales markers than supplying customers with technology based on their lives, schedules, and finances. It was also bothersome to have to visit multiple locations in order to learn about what each carrier had to offer.
