Lawrence Banker, DDS, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biomathematics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Lawrence Banker, DDS, accomplished much during his time at the university, ranking first in his major, graduating with honors in zoology, and earning the status of Henry Rutgers Scholar for his undergraduate thesis. He also developed an advanced understanding of elderly patients during this period by working as an orderly at a nursing home.
After graduating from Rutgers in 1976, Lawrence Banker, DDS, entered the New York University College of Dentistry’s Doctor of Dental Surgery program. For four years, he studied at the institution. During this time, he completed an optional residency in dentistry at the New York University Medical Center. He served as an attending dentist at a number of hospitals, including Bellevue Hospital Center, Goldwater Memorial Hospital, the U.S. Administration of Veterans Affairs, and Jacobi Medical Center. Dr. Banker obtained his license in 1981 following the completion of the Virginia Department of Health Professions’ exam.
Lawrence Banker, DDS, offers a variety of services at his Falls Church practice, including general dental services such as fillings, crowns, and cleanings, cosmetic procedures,restoring implants that have been placed, and more. Dr. Banker respects his patients' time and tries to get as much done at each visit.
In his free time, Lawrence Banker, DDS, enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and refurbishing pinball machines. An enthusiastic philanthropist, Dr. Banker supports a variety of charities and a number of local school events.
