Author R.C. Sproul Jr. has tackled such controversial theological issues as creation, rulers, history, homeschooling and Satan.
To address these issues, he crafted countless essays and articles, and published more than 10 books, including: “Biblical Economics,” “Tearing down Strongholds,” “Almighty Over All,” “After Darkness Light,” and “Bound for Glory.”
Sproul spent nearly 10 years in the magazine industry. From September of 1993 to December of 2003, RC was the editor in chief for the Ligonier Ministries, an Orlando, Florida-based Christian education publication. He edited the content for the monthly magazine and managed a small staff of only three people. Ligonier Ministries had roughly 70,000 subscribers.
Despite his departure from Ligonier Ministries, R.C. Sproul Jr. continues to contribute to the magazine industry, serving as a columnist for two national magazines.
Sproul spends most of his days teaching at the organization he founded, the Virginia-based Highlands Study Center. At the center, which has been in operation since September of 1996, Mr. Sproul teaches the Bible to local families.
R.C. Sproul Jr. went to Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania and studied Literature and Philosophy. Sproul received his Master’s degree in theological studies at Reformed Theological Seminary in Florida and his Doctorate at Whitefield Theological Seminary in Lakeland, Florida.
R.C. Sproul Jr.’s favorite pastimes include spending time with his family, snow skiing and golfing.
He resides in Mendota, Virginia.
