Thomas McNaull

Thomas McNaull has been a leading figure in healthcare management for more than three decades. A highly results-focused professional, Thomas McNaull has spent his career implementing creative and effective financial strategies as a senior-level executive at some of the nation’s largest private healthcare networks, including Charter Medical Corporations and Hospital Corporation of America. Thomas McNaull currently serves as the CEO and Chairman of MedStar Partners, LLC, where he leverages his considerable expertise as an operational management consultant for underperforming or financially distressed hospitals throughout the country. Thomas McNaull founded MedStar Partners in 2007. Prior to beginning his career, Thomas McNaull attended the University of Florida, where he studied business administration. Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree, Thomas McNaull spent the next 10 years developing his managerial skills as a financial executive for a number of hospitals throughout Florida and Georgia, including the Palm Beach-based Humana Hospital of the Palm Beaches, the Atlanta-based Rockdale Hospital, and the Miami-based Coral Reef Hospital. Thomas McNaull eventually returned to college, attending Emory University for his Master of Business Administration. Upon acquiring his MBA, Thomas McNaull continued his ascent in the healthcare industry, eventually accepting the dual position of President of Information Systems and Vice President of the Hospital Division for Charter Medical Corporations. In this role, Thomas McNaull maintained direct responsibility for the financial management of 100 hospitals, representing 22,500 employees and annual revenues in excess of $1.5 billion. Thomas McNaull left Charter Medical Corporations after eight years to found the consulting firm AMT Group, Inc. (American MedTrust). In addition to his primary work with MedStar Partners, Thomas McNaull remains active in a number of professional organizations related to the healthcare industry, including, the American Hospital Association, and HBS Healthcare Industry Alumni Association. Outside of work, Thomas McNaull enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and spending time with his wife and four children.
