Je suis informaticien spécialisé dans les technologies Web. J’aime tout ce qui touche aux standards du Web (XHTML et CSS en particulier), au développement d’applications et aux logiciels libres.

Je m’intéresse fortement aux nouvelles tendances du Web, comme AJAX, le Web 2.0, les réseaux sociaux, etc.

MON PARCOURS

My name is Vincent Battaglia but everybody calls me « Vinch ».
I'm 24 (born on Oct, 18 1983) and I actually live in Hennuyères (Braine-le-Comte) which is 35 km far from Brussels.
I'm now Front-End Web Developer at Emakina.
I have got a master in computer science at the University of Mons-Hainaut.
I like learning new things anytime. I'm very interested in XTHML, CSS, Web standards, accessibility, semantical Web, JavaScript, AJAX, Web 2.0, SEO, PHP, Web frameworks, Open source technologies and softwares, geographic information systems, and many more.
I have worked since the middle of 2005. My first job was in T4HR, the software service of the job agency Trace! where I was a "Front-end architect". My job there was slicing PSD layouts and integrating them into MyFaces (Java Web framework from Apache based on JSF). In early 2006, I decided to start as a freelance. I was free to use new generation tools to create websites and it was cool to work at home! Despite that, I was very interested in working in a growing company like Emakina Belgium where I'm officially Web integrator and Flash developer.
I like surfing on the Internet, Web, new technologies, doing sport (soccer and tennis), playing cards (Texas Hold'em Poker), cooking, eating (discover new tastes from everywhere), music (especially rock), movies & TV shows, travels, learning new things (in any domain), etc.
